The National Wrestling Alliance returns to the Rogersville, TN National Guard Armory on Saturday night, November 24th as we present Thanksgiving Thunder: The Perfect Storm! This event will feature a huge double main event.

In what is being billed as the greatest wrestling card ever in Rogersville, TN, all the world’s eyes will be focused around the main event, as the NEW NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion, the mountain empire’s own Chase Owens will defend against a man who never was pinned to lose the title, Kevin Douglas… a match originally set for October 13th in Kingsport. Douglas, the former champion, was injured prior to his flight to Kingsport for his title defense and was stripped of the title by NWA President R. Bruce Tharpe. A tournament was held to crown a new champion in which Owens was victorious. Due to the controversy surrounding the title, President Tharpe himself sent the word down that the match will be held on November 24th to settle one of the most personal feuds in wrestling today… inside of a 15 foot high steel cage!

In the second main event, the final PWF Heavyweight Champion will be decided as best friends, and brothers, go one-on-one when Heavyweight Champion Josh Crawford challenges NWA Southern Television Champion Johnny Knieval. Both men have competed for Pro Wrestling Federation since the beginning days, gaining one of the biggest followings in mountain empire wrestling. When it was decided that the PWF would merge with the NWA Smoky Mountain, the decision was made to have this match, between best friends, Tag Team Championship partners, and brothers… to crown one final PWF Heavyweight Champion. For these two men, it is truly their “Last Stand”.
